Food makes our cells of the body. What we eat reveals our health similarly food decides our fertility level. It prepares ends for optimal fertility. However, if some specific food is taken in different phases of cycle, it may beneficial for fertility. During menstruation due to bleeding body loses iron and therefore, leafy green vegetables, carrots, pomegranates, liver meat is advised to eat in this phase while wheatgrass juice,olive oil is recommended to take in follicular phase. Chicken, nuts, seeds are good for ovulation. However, there is a seed cycle which is considered good for boosting fertility especially regularizing ovulation and period’s cycle.
In first day of your cycle,
sesame seeds and sunflower seeds are good. Sesame seeds are rich in healing
fats and vitamins, minerals fiber etc.
It consists of cholesterol
and blood sugar. It is rich in calcium.
It has folic acid as well which helps fertility. However, it has phytic acid
which may stop absorption of minerals in body. Therefore, it should be used
after soaking, roasting or sprouting. Sunflower seeds are also used in this
phase called follicular phase. In menstruation phase, blood is released out of the
body which causes iron deficiency. In this stage sunflower seeds are considered
good. However, animals’ liver is best option for this purpose. The both seeds
are used from 1st day of the cycle to 13th day. From 14th
day, flax seed and pumpkin seeds are good. Flax seeds have Omega 3. It has
essential faty acids as well. It plays significant role to balance the
hormones. It has been reported in different researches that women after having
omega 3 rich foods improved fertility level. Therefore flax or sea foods are
taken in this phase, promotes Progesterone which is significant contributor of
ovulation. Similarly pumpkin seeds are
high in magnesium and zinc which is very important for fetal growth and sperms. It has
also nutrition to reduce the risk of miscarriages. It is worth to mention here
that seed cycle has been found very beneficial for the women suffering from
hormonal imbalance. It encourages the balancing hormones, estrogen and
progesterone and thus symptoms of PMS/PCO are not only reduced but eliminated.
